Turkey has a public health insurance system with 98% coverage, which is unique in the world. - Quality Control and Audit: It is important for the Ministry of Health to take a strong stance on accreditation, regulation and supervision, and to prevent under-the-stairs services and poor quality practices.
- International Cooperation: It is crucial for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take strategic steps to promote Turkey's health sector abroad and to make agreements with European countries to ensure that their health insurances cover treatment in Turkey.
