What is Robospine?

The ROBOSPINE System helps improve spinal health by targeting herniated discs and degenerative disc changes in the lower back and neck. Spinal decompression applied with Robospine is a treatment method in which controlled traction is performed on the spine with light mechanical forces. By locally stretching the bones that make up the spine, negative pressure is created between the vertebrae and the herniated discs are pulled outward. Thus, the discs between the vertebrae regain their former structure, the pressure on the nerve roots is relieved and the pain subsides.

Spinal decompression therapy differs from standard traction methods in that it gradually and gently increases the force applied to the spine, prevents protective reactions of the muscles and does not require excessive stretching force. Thus, muscle spasms are prevented and the patient can continue the treatment in comfort.

Spinal decompression therapy improves blood circulation, reduces muscle cramps and aims to heal degenerated discs. This method helps to restore biomechanical balance in the spine while stimulating natural healing processes.

Robospine performs spinal decompression therapy by creating negative pressure on the discs in the spine. The treatment process is quite simple and takes place in the following steps:

  • Patient Position: Before the treatment, the patient lies down in the treatment area of the Robospine device. While the patient is lying on his/her back, the device head and support mechanisms are placed appropriately on the body.
  • Device Settings: The computer-controlled robotic system automatically adjusts to the patient's needs. The treatment process can be customized taking into account each patient's specific condition. The device starts by gradually and gently increasing the force applied to the spine.
  • Negative Pressure Application: By locally stretching the bones of the spine, Robospine helps to retract bulging or herniated discs. This negative pressure application relieves pressure on the nerve roots.
  • Treatment Process: During the treatment period, the robotic structure of the device precisely manages the force applied to the spine. In this process, the patient receives treatment without feeling pain and discomfort. The device provides a comfortable treatment experience without excessive stretching or pressure.
  • After Treatment: When the treatment is complete, the patient can easily leave the device and the treatment process ends. This treatment activates natural healing processes and improves muscle and joint health.

In Which Situations Is Spinal Decompression Treatment Applied?

Robospine offers an effective solution for the treatment of the following diseases, especially spinal diseases and conditions such as lumbar and cervical disc herniation:

  • Lumbar herniated discs (Lumbar disc herniation)
  • Neck hernias (cervical disc herniation)
  • Sciatic pain (Radiculopathy)
  • Spinal canal stenosis (Spinal stenosis)
  • Facet joint pain (pain originating from the spine joint)
  • Spinal calcification (spinal degeneration)
  • Nerve compression (This treatment relieves nerve compression by reducing pressure on the nerve roots).
  • Back, neck, lumbar pain (It is effective in the treatment of spine-related pain and muscle strains).

This treatment is used to alleviate pain and movement limitations caused by the above-mentioned diseases, to reduce pressure on the nerve and to accelerate the healing process of patients.

Advantages of Robospine

  • Gentle and Effective Treatment: The treatment is done by gradually increasing the force applied to the spine, which prevents protective reactions of the muscles and makes the treatment more effective.
  • Painless Recovery Process: Unlike traditional methods, there is no need for excessive stretching force and the patient is provided with a comfortable treatment.
  • Supports Natural Healing Processes: Spinal decompression therapy improves blood circulation, relieves muscle cramps and promotes healing of degenerated discs.
  • Safe and Controlled Treatment: The fact that it is a fully computer-controlled system ensures that the treatment process is implemented safely.
